Mamow Support Staff Hold a Working Retreat

In early October, Mamow Ahyamowen support staff gathered for a working retreat in Thunder Bay to review the feedback and insights collected during the July gathering, which focused on chronic conditions. At that gathering, the team co-interpreted the data with First Nations community members and Steering Committee members, ensuring the findings reflected their experiences and needs.

The working retreat provided a valuable opportunity for the support staff to come together, analyze the data, and make key decisions for the upcoming report. It was an important time to integrate community input into the analysis and refine the approach moving forward. Through focused collaboration, the team aligned on the next steps, ensuring the data would be shared in meaningful ways. This collaboration helped ensure that the data would provide the Steering Committee and First Nations community members with the information they need to support their work and decision-making.
