Welcome to our newest partner

April 2019

We are pleased to welcome Mushkegowuk Health Department to Mamow Ahyamowen. Mushkegowuk Health Department serves the First Nations of Attawapiskat, Kashechewan, Fort Albany, Moose Cree, Taykwa Tagamou, Missanabie Cree, and Chapleau Cree. Mushkegowuk will be represented on the Mamow Ahyamowen Steering Committee by Catherine Cheechoo (Health Director) and Barb Duffin (Director, Mushkegowuk Information Services). When it was formed, Mamow Ahyamowen was made up of seven partner organizations. Over the past three years the partnership has grown to 10 First Nation governed partners from across Northern Ontario. Collectively our partners represent 78 First Nations. The continued interest of new partners helps to reaffirm that the partnership is helping to address a gap that continues to be important and relevant to First Nations across Northern Ontario.
