Progress Update – Winter 2025

December 2025

The past few months have been marked by steady progress across many areas of Mamow Ahyamowen’s work. Below are just some of the key items we’ve been working on over the past few months:

  • Mamow Ahyamowen attended the ICES Fall Forum, engaging with partners and learning about recent developments in health data and analytics. The event provided a valuable space for connection, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
  • We’re continuing to make progress on the Chronic Conditions and the Mental Health and Substance Use projects. Stay tuned—2026 will bring exciting opportunities for knowledge sharing and collaboration across the North!
  • We had wonderful engagement opportunities with some of the Organizations we work with – setting up booths and connecting with community members.
  • Mamow Ahyamowen continues to host Privacy Q&A sessions with David Morgan, offering an open, drop-in space for participants to ask questions and deepen their understanding of privacy-related topics. The sessions resumed in the autumn and have been ongoing, with participation from across Organizations. In addition, Mamow Ahyamowen shares quarterly privacy updates to help Organizations stay informed about key issues, best practices, and emerging topics. Together, these efforts reinforce our shared belief that privacy is everyone’s responsibility.
