Progress Update – Winter 2023

We have had a lot going on over the last while. Below are some of the additional items that Mamow Ahyamowen has been working on:

  • We are actively advancing the chronic conditions and mental health and addictions analyses and addressing minor challenges and nuances with the data. We are looking forward to sharing our findings with communities and organizations in 2024.
  • The Privacy Q&A Coffee chats are still happening every two weeks, and our monthly Privacy Corner emails are ongoing.
  • We are actively developing and fine-tuning the Mamow Ahyamowen Intranet. Currently in the beta testing phase, our goal is to roll out the launch in early 2024.
  • Mamow Ahyamowen Support Staff had the chance to attend the ICES Mental Health & Addictions Research Symposium on November 14, 2023, in Toronto. This in-person event also marked the 10-year anniversary of the Mental Health & Addictions Program at ICES.   It proved to be a valuable experience for learning about and networking.
